After-school care in Holyoke, Massachusetts

Homework help in Spanish or English, then play

A licensed after-school program for children ages 5 to 12, in a ground-floor hall near two elementary schools. Every table has adults who speak both languages, so a child can start homework in the language it came in.

  • Ages 5 to 12
  • School days until 6 p.m.
  • Spanish and English

The afternoon

From the last bell to pickup, in two languages

Every school day has the same parts in the same order. At homework time there are two tables, one in Spanish and one in English, and children move between them as the homework does.

  • Allergies and medicine

Tell us about allergies at the tour; we ask privately once you enroll. Medicine is given only with your written permission, by a staff member trained to give it.

  • When a child is ill

A child with a fever or a contagious illness stays home. If a child becomes ill here, we call the first person on your list and a staff member stays close until you arrive.
